Every pup who comes through our gates has a story, from highway rescues to neighborhood tree gatherings. Some are shy like Puddles, some are scrappy survivors like Amelia, and all of them are looking for the right human to love.

Not sure if you’re ready for forever love? No problem. We offer trial periods where you can foster a dog for a day, overnight, a weekend, or even a full week. It’s the perfect way to see how your potential new family member settles in before making things official.

Adoptions are $400, which covers what we like to call “the works”: vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, and plenty of socialization. Basically, we do the hard stuff so you can focus on belly rubs and squeaky toys.

Every dog here is a potty-training candidate (some are still in “freshman year,” others are close to “honors graduate”). But we don’t let bathroom logistics stand in the way of a great match—love comes first, rugs second.

Tamara believes families are more likely to adopt when they don’t have to worry about surprise vet bills. That’s why she covers what she jokingly calls “the whole enchilada in Ensenada”—surgeries, recovery, wellness, grooming, and training. You can rest easy knowing the big-ticket items will be taken care of.
